Ann’s provide nursing care for residents with mental illness or a physical disability and is ideal for service users with challenging behaviour. Staff are able to develop and provide a programme of activities tailored to service individual capabilities and interests in line with personalised assessments and care plans. At the Grouse ,the staffing levels are at the ratio of 1/3.3 and all staff with be experienced in mental health care and MAPA trained.
The property is close to amenities, public transport and the M1/M12 motorway links. Portadown Centre is less than six miles away and Craigavon Area Hospital is also within 10 minutes drive.
The Grouse Care Home at Loughgall provides care in the new 14-bed nursing facility, consisting of 14 en-suite bedrooms along with a separate ‘assisted’ bathroom.
Our Facilites
The facility features a TV lounge and two quiet sitting rooms for relaxation. In addition a separate dining room is available, where residents can socialise at meal times.
Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is offered with residents being able to select from the daily choices available. Special diets are also catered be for.
Additional Features
Other features include the provision of a quiet/sensory room and a visitors room and outside there are new trees and hedgerows.
Residents also have access to their own vegetable plots and animal pens if required.
